I don't like the Harry Potter character, although I do LOVE JK Rowlings imagination! So many things are great about the Harry Potter movies, except Harry Potter himself!! I personally think the character is weak, whiney, emo, and a plain whimp. Hermoine has more guts than him.
I also like many of the other characters such as The weasley twins, Professor Snape and Hagrid. The Hogwarts concept is brilliant, however the main character is sorely lacking in every way. So if he dies, he dies.

I'm not a very big Harry Potter fan. Actually, in fact, I really don't care for it. So, since Harry Potter ain't a "big click" to me, I don't imangine that I'd shed any tears

I think it is a big bad carreer move for J.K. Rowling. I also think it is stupid to kill him off. If she wants to stop writing about him then just end it. He graduates and be done with it. Don't kill him off.
Honestly I couldn't tell you if I would care. I am not obsessed with Harry Potter however I do enjoy the movies.
And, I hope you are talking about the fictional character not Daniel Ratcliff

Well it would make the movie much more interesting and stuff but then it would be sad just like when Cedric died.

Well being that he is a "fictional" character in a book, I don't think it would affect anyone on a deep emotional level, but...
It would really suck if he died and Voldermont lived...don't you think?
