why don't blacks move to africa and start over?

I never heard or read that before. Most of us here in America have black or mixture of different types of ancestry. It doesn't matter. It's our character that makes us not our race. We become great people because of our great works or bad people because of our bad works our race has nothing to do with it. We should stop focusing on race and focus on character. 2D

i always thought it was because back then if you looked black then you were black, if you were very light then you could pass for white. but why is it just because your skin tone is darker you are automatically African-American? think of it this way if you saw a white man walking down the street and he told you he was black would you believe him?
