It would be better to just go to your nearest Soc Security office and they can help you better. The websites usually don't handle info like that.

I don't believe you. You're trying to stalk your ex boyfriend aren't you?

In reality, I think you have to contact someone and say the card has been lost. SSI's are all you have to your name at the end of the day. They can't just issue you another card no worries. You have to prove your son is your son and your son has to prove he is who he says he is. It's like getting a passport. I don't know who you have to contact but your congressman or person would be able to put you in contact with the right person.

Good luck. I was only kidding earlier. I hope everything gets cleared up soon enough. I lost my Social Insurance Number a few years back. I'm still paying fees for missed mortgage payments for a cottage I've never seen.

For identity theft reasons you can't find SSI #'s on the Internet. You'll have to visit your counties SS Office and apply for a new one. You will definitely need his birth certificate and your license.

Good luck

It's a pain in the rear, I've been there before

You should have a local Social Security office in your town, look in the phone book, they're usually listed in the light blue government pages. The local offices are all over the U.S. and all of them have local phone numbers.
