YES!! I was a waitress at a restaraunt once, where we had to tally up our own guest checks (they were too cheap to afford computers).
The boss would go through each check every night to make sure we charged the correct price per item, and that it was totaled correctly.
I can understand him "maybe" doing this if he was finding mistakes that were a few dollars or more(10's, 20's, whatever)
but i would find my "mistake" pile, and it would have in bright red ink on each ticket how much we owed. most of the time it was like .10 or .36 or some stupid stuff like that.
AND if we didnt pay them with our tips, he would take it out of our check (and I only made 2.09 per hour at that time as a waitress!)

YES, ufff, have I ever! I worked at Goody's Family Clothing for like 4 years, and I had the best boss in the world, then after 3.5 years she got a better opportunity and left, her replacement was a total 180 of my old boss. OMG, This lady actually told me to "buck it up and quit whining" because I had been working for 5 hours straight without a bathroom break and I was in dier need of one!
I quit because of her, along with 75% of the rest of the long term crew there!
She was a BIATCH!!!

I work for one right now -
What she doesn't know that I may have 3 job offers coming in this week. If I do, I'm going to finish out next week, and then I'm resigning!!!!
