I could always play DVD's on my computer, it just started that when I put a DVD in nothing happens.

Did you try going to your "start" menu in the bottom left of your computer screen. Then clicking on "my computer" then the dvd drive...

Some dvd players do not reconize all dvd formats.If this is a copied dvd this is probable the case.Try an old dvd you know that worked in it before. If it does cool ,if not go to my computer and see if your dvd drive is shown. If not open side panel and check to see if the wiring and power supply is connected properly. Make sure power supply has been dissconected for atleast 1 minute before you do this. If it still isnt regonized in my computer then the drive is dead and must be replaced. Their prices have dropped drastically of late so its a good time to buy. Get an all format(super format) dvd writer .you might want one withn light scribe but like double layer disks light scribe disks are quite expensive .They also sell just dvd players. their only 30 or $40 Best buy ,comp usa,circuit city, all carry them at a competitive price

Assuming you have a DVD player on your PC, just install Power DVD and your PC would play like any DVD console.

Are you putting it in the dvd-rom Player? If your computer doesnt have one then you cant. Hey, I have an idea! Use the Dvd Player! Now there's an Idea!

on a pc go into my computer and right click o the d drive and push open on a mac go into the finder and double click on the pix of a dvd titled: the name of the dvd it should open and play
f it fails you can use itunes under devices there will be the dvd and u can play it
u can also use wmp (windows media player) and go to the cd / dvd section and play it
you can do it any of these ways or use a dif media player

You need a dvd drive.

Do u have a DVD drive in ur computer? If not, that is the problem.
