My boyfriend was taking out the trash Friday morning, and found a diamond bracelet lying in the street in front of the house.
We went around asking the neighbors if it was theirs, but nobody seems to know who it belongs to.
I guess it's mine, now....... = )

Shut up! I found a diamond tennis bracelet, too!! In a restroom in Las Vegas. I went to the manager and said, "I found this, and if the rightful owner comes back for it, call me" and gave him my phone number. I called because I never heard a word from him, and he said nobody had ever called or come in about it. It's 18k gold, and 5 carats of diamonds! I found that thing 5 years ago and wear it every day.

The correct procedure is to turn it into the police. After 20 days if no one claims it is yours.
