Well I don't date !! I'm married ... to my best friend of just over 33 years..... but when I did date..... we didn't really drink. oh HE did, but I wasn't so much into that !! But for me if I drank, (which I don't), and if I dated (which again, I don't), the circumstances would have to be so that we'd been seeing each other for a while,,,,, a month or two even....and really get to know this person, cuz when I puke?,,,, I want someone there who'll not mind holding my hair out of the way !!! Very important to me.
Please don't get me wrong, while I may not be a big drinker, I do feel there are other issues to be addressed, prior to getting drunk with this person, and making a total fool out of oneself..... for example : will this be at a public place where cops are going to be present? Will it be at a college frat house, with den mothers' looking down their noses at ones appearance or attitude? Will it be at a party, held specifically by "HIM" and his friends, so they can talk about cha the next day?? Will there be a hot tub involved? Those are so difficult to clean up after someone has hurled in them !! UKY !!
So many things to factor in !!
While I am way older now, I don't mind an occasional beer with my bar-b-que,,,,but that's about it. We don't go to bars, we quit going out dancing ,,,, and just all that... Just isn't for us..... not our thing.
