it isnt a mixed gas bike, its an older yz, i added oil, and cleaned the air filter, and i have been messing around with the idle screw, everytime i hit the gas and it stays there no matter how high i hit the gas, and it doesnt have a choke, or at least not one that is visible

Air leak somewhere.
Carb to intake manifold.
Intake manifold/reed block to cylinder.
Left crankshaft seal (if your bike is a 2 stroke - some people don't give the correct model # when asking questions).
Once it starts reving, turn on the choke.
If there's an air leak, the additional fuel from the choke circuit will balance the fuel/air mixture and bring down the RPMs.

Did you use a oil mix in your fuel and mix it to 32:1 ratio? If so check that you reinstalled the air filter properly with no air leaks.

check the slide to make sure it isnt fully open. also check you idle screw. make sure choke isnt engaged. start there. next check for air leaks on all mating surfaces. spray some wd40 or mating surfaces and see if bubbles happen that means theres air getting out. then replace the gaskets. also check air filter the make sure its installed correctly. i think you wrapped the throttle cable around something somehow and its causing the slide to be fully open.

No. Do a acompression test first, secondly you could have bad reeds, or just a bad head or base gasket. Also you might want to take your carb off and clean it as a dirty carb could be the problem.

check the throttle to see if it's stuck open, perhaps the return spring came off
