My newborn has a reflective pupil, the other one is fine but this one is like a cat or a fox and is reflective all of the time. Is she okay or do I need it looked at?

You need to have it 'looked into' the next time you take your daughter for an exam by her pediatrician ... it could be just 'the light' when you are looking at her, or it could be 'signs' of something that is at least 'important to know' and could be that she is 'blind' in that eye and needs 'help' with glasses, surgery, or whatever.

While I believe that it is something you can wait for until your next appointment, call the peds office and ask. This is especially true for something that may have not been noticed at the hospital.

she might have coloboma, which is a mutation of one or more parts of the eye that often causes pupil deformities.

google "coloboma" for more info, and then go see an optometrist.

I would get it looked at just to be sure. It is always good to be on the safe side so you are not worrying about it all the time.

If she fallows your face with bother her eyes then I would say not to worry, but if you think that there is something to it I would talk to your pediatrician.
