drew blood - Im not impressed with any offseason moves jacksonville did this year, and im not impressed with the running game over in tennesse and the pacman controversy, and im not too thrilled with who's throwing the ball over in KC and LJ will start to slow down this year from carrying the ball too much. Baltimore is my other choice as a wildcard cuz they lost a key LB to another AFC team (patriots) and their other star LB is aging (lewis)

Broncos. The steelers arent who they used to be. Broncos now added Dre Bly which improves their pass defense. I wouldn't be surprised if they get a top 5 defense this year.

The AFC is tough.
The Steelers in the past would lose players and everyone would doubt that they could be contenders...and every one of those years The Steelers proved every one wrong.
Last year showed every one that the Steelers are finally wearing thin. And that 1 person that everyone believed in, that one person that could motivate others to be better was there biggest lost of all. " Mr. Bill "
So I don't believe that The Steelers will make the play offs at all.
There are to Many teams in the AFC that will make those bids.
And the truth of the Matter is...not only could the Broncos be a better Wild Card team...But with the additions of Henry and Bly, they could win there Division.
These are the teams that will be playing in,
or fighting for the Playoffs spots in the AFC.
Ravens
Patriots
Broncos
Jags
Colts
Chargers
Dolphins

Between those 2 teams, you've got to go with Denver and this is coming from a guy that hates the Broncos more than anything. Fact is, the Steelers D has gotten weaker, the Broncos D has improved. Cutler showed some flashes of brilliance last year, Roethlisberger is nothing more than the reincarnation of Trent Dilfer. Denver has 2 quality RB in Henry and Bell, Pittsburgh has fast Willy Parker but nobody else to shoulder the load on offense.

the Pittsburgh Steelers have a countrywide fanbase. you will see Pittsburgh Steeler Jersey in very almost any city in the U. S.. an identical isn't authentic for the Broncos. The Steelers have gained 6 Superbowls and the Broncos have gained 2 if that helps.

Broncos, without question.
Their defense looks like its ready to be an elite group again. Their secondary with Bly, Bailey and Lynch will be very difficult to pass on. D.J. Williams wll be a ood fit at MLB replacing Al Wilson due to his aggresion, yet speedy range to get to the ball carrier sideline to sideline. Ian Gold is still a great Weakside Linebacker and should contribute again. The D line looks stout with the addition of space eater San Adams. Jarvis Moss, although undersized and a little raw, can provide pass rushing immediately and make an impact.
The offense looks to be a balanced, efficient group this year. Jay Cutler impressed a lot of people and should continue to grow and improve. Javon Walker remains as a top tier wide receiver and Rod Smith, even at 37, still produces. The key additions are Travis Henry and Daniel Grahem. Henry gives them a perfect, one slash power bruiser for their zone blocking scheme they've been missing since Terrell Davis left. Daniel Grahem is a great weapon as a pass receiver and an effective blocker, which will allow Mike Shanahan more 2 TE formations with Steven Alexander to pass on 1st down to keep defenses confused.
Although they might now win the AFC West with the Chargers being so dominant, they will put up a good fight for it and most likely will win the 5th playoff seed with between a 10-6 an 12-4 mark.

The Steelers. Simply because the Broncos are a higher rated team than a wildcard team.

Broncos. Steelers are still missing a few key pieces to be back where they were. The Broncos still have excellent line play on both sides of the ball and that will make the difference.

I don't think the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to make the wild card with a new head coach right off the bat. I go with Denver, revamped defense and offense, plus almost no serious off the field issues.

Oh man.........I would have to pick Denver. Because they have the experienced coach and some talent. Only reason I MIGHT consider Pittsburgh is because of Rothlesburger Helper, but if he has another season like the one they had last season, you might have wished you picked Denver. Sure you don't want to take Jacksonville, Tennessee, or even Kansas City instead?
