The christian song was called "Sing your praise to the Lord"- what Im looking for is the name of the Bach piece used in the intro.. thank you.

Cubcur- the amazon link was the right song, BUT the whole intro in which i am referring to is not included in the link, Back in college I had the full sheets to this song, and it Is in E, the link is playing it flat- but thanks for looking it up anyways! I do appreciate it.

Could it possibly have been his Prelude #1?

I heard a song last week in Church where the pianist was playing Prelude #1 and the song was "The King of Love my Shepherd Is" which was played with a clarinet by the choir leader. This has been used over and over and is called "Ave Maria"

Another one used a lot is "My heart ever Faithful" and "Sheep Shall Safely Graze" and one of my favorites, "Jesu, joy of Man's Desiring." I am assuming you mean J.S. Bach.

I'm not sure what the Amy Grant song is called, but I think it was the c minor prelude

This is the Amy Grant intro as recorded in 1982 (reiss. 1993):

If this is Bach, I'm a little pink elephant... :-) Is there a release pre-dating this one that you're referring to? (It's in E-flat major, btw)

Edit: OK, I'll have another scout tomorrow... :-)
