"Miller's Crossing" has always been one of my favorites. Nothing in the movie is predictable, but everything is logical. Even after the twist is played out at the end, Tom Reagan does what you don't expect.

I definitly agree. The acting and action sequences are the equal of the Godfather movies and the plot is superior. Gabriel Byrne is clearly an 'unsung' superstar - very underrated.

it's probably in my top 50, very good film
