There are NO negatives to this surgery. I was a 38J and went to a 38C and my back LOVES me!

My insurance paid for mine 100%, I only paid the $75 copay for the hospital stay.

I had back/neck/shoulder pain as well as rashes under my breasts and grooves in my shoulders. My pain was GONE the moment I awoke in the recovery room.

This site helped me out TONS before and after surgery:

P.S. The surgeon will take out as much fatty tissue as he or she can, so if you lose weight after the reduction, you shouldn't lose too much in the breasts. Though it is good if you lose as much weight as you can before surgery :)

Shoot me an email if you want to talk or have any questions.

Have you had babies yet? Because if not I would wait if I were you. I waited until after I had my last baby and did it 4 months later. I am a wonderful 34 C and I LOVE IT. Your boobs get saggy after kids so it is like a free boob job (my insurance paid for everything!) Plus the fact that you don't have to deal with back problems anymore.
The recover was totally quick and pretty pain free. I am a dancer and I was back to teaching 2 weeks after the surgery. I barely have any scaring either. Make sure the surgeon you choose is board certified and a good plastic surgeon should do all of the insurance stuff for you, I didn't have to do a thing.
I went in for a consultation just to have him look at me and ask some questions and within a month I had my surgery! It was the best thing I ever did for myself.
PS....you should loose weight (if you have any to loose) before the surgery. I had 50 lbs to drop and I did it right after my last baby.

You need to consider your options.

#1-go ahead and start the process of getting approved by your health insurance provider (which can take a few months in some cases) and have the surgery. You can start your weight loss battle while you're waiting to be approved.

or

#2-Lose the weight and then try to get approved. In some cases the first place you lose weight is the chest. You might lose enough weight that you cant get approved.

I have known many people, including my sister-in-law, that have had this surgery and NOBODY has regretted it at ALL!!

It improves your overall quality of life in too many ways to name! It will probably make it alot easier for you to exercise and lose weight!

I think you should try to get down to a healthy weight before having any kind of breast surgery. If you stay on the heavy side, your breasts will be the least of your worries. Not to mention if you decide to drop down in weight your breasts will decrease in size on thier own and then you can have that area tightened up to whatever size you like. Why go through the process twice. Think about it.

Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called tour2india4health consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
