question about smash bros brawl, why would they put snake on smash bros brawl?

It kinda kills the whole smash bros theme. snake and nintendo do not mix.

In case you don't know, Snake make his first appearance on the NES. It was a logical choice for Snake to be in this game.

They (Nintendo) probably wanted to tap into the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Or the company that makes MGS payed Nintendo to put him in, to increase sales on MGS games.

because there was a metal gear solid game for game cube so i guest that they wanted to put him in
