No. Very few of them are liars. That's why when they do lie, it's news.

Haven't you figured it out yet? News isn't about common things. It's about RARE things. No one sees used car sales men in the news who have been caught lying. No one sees corruption cases for ex-felons. No one sees a gay man on T.V. because he fondled an underage boy.

No, you see police officers and priests...and our representatives, because it's rare, it's strange, it's unusual.

And people still think the news is about reality. Silly.

Now. That said, I would WANT my top representatives to be great liars. The modern idiocy that says, "My President should be revealing everything! What has he got to hide! He's obviously part of a vast-blank-wing conspiracy because he won't tell us whatever we want to know!"

A more suicidal impulse on the part of the public I don't know about. Let's force our President to reveal classified data for the sake of a political witch hunt. Bless all the past Presidents who have said, "NO" (Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, etc.).

I want a very good liar. Even if they have to lie to the stupid people who don't understand the first thing about our government or the world we live in. Definitely. My country comes first, not some imaginary "right to know".

There are a few politicians who are not liars but they're not successful for long.
