well exactly a week and 2 days ago i have unprotected sex 3 times....and i was due one on the 14th i took a pregnancy test and it said not pregnant...is it too early to tell? i have booked an appointment at the hospital to see someone to do another pregnancy test but she said on the phone the ones in the shop are pretty accurate is it still worth going? an will they be able to tell this early?

honestly i would wait a few days longer, ur only 3 days late and just the fact that you know you had unprotected sex and that it very well may be possible that you are pregnant could be stressing you out that might be why your period is late. And the home pregnacy tests are very accurate. If still by a week u don't get your period i'd try another home pregnancy test. Good luck

Definately the tests can be wrong. I tested negative twice, and so thought I was not pregnant 4 1/2 years ago - and my wee girl is proof that it was wrong. Just try and stay calm and wait another week or so before doing another. The shop ones are fairly accurate, but human error also plays a part. Are you doing the tests first thing in the morning? This is the best time - and good luck...

I took 7 otc tests and they all came out negative. I am totally pregnant. Sometimes the levels of hCg aren't high enough that early in your pregnancy to show up. It's still worth going so you know for sure.

Sometimes it is to early to tell in about a week or so you should take another test maybe that one will be more accurate

You are unlikely to be pregnant as, if your dates are correct, you would not have been ovulating at the time you had sex. Tests are pretty accurate but go to your appointment anyway to put your mind at rest one way or the other

it takes two weeks for the pregnancy test to know if ur pregnant or not so ull have to wait for another 5 days, its most likley that u are pregnant if u had sex 3 times.

ur far 2 early 2 test u should wait 3weeks 2 do a test seems ur very desperate if ur wanting 2 test that soon
any tests at the chemist are usually acurate if u do them at the proper time

it could still be to early. If you tryed a week and two days ago, then it's too early. Try to wait till 2 weeks after! Good luck!

Yes you could still be pregnant...I had a pregnancy test done when I was pregnant with my daughter, it came out negative...but I still had not started my period...two weeks later I had a repeated one done and that was positive.

there is a chance but was it around the time you ovulate that is usually 2 weeks after LMP and pregnancy test at the stores are pretty acurate.
