If not... can one of you Busho-obsessed folks please tell me one mistake Bush has made with regard to the Iraq war? Without mocking liberals. Something BUSH has done that has had a negative impact on this country.

To those who were able and willing to discuss Bush's shortcomings, thank you. To everyone else, since you think Bush is perfect, and cannot discuss even the POSSIBILITY that he has imperfections without trying to blame them on liberals, this point of view is irrational and unworthy of discussion.

1. Please learn the definition of the word "hypocrisy." In order for me to be exercising hypocrisy by asking this question, I would have to also support a contrary position, that being that Bush is a great President. Believe me when I say you will never find a post from me saying that.

2. Have the integrity to use your OWN five points to ask questions in the future, please.

Nexus: What a truly tragic loss for me. I've never even seen you before; what makes you think I care if you block me? Please do.

Nobody is perfect. I think one mistake Bush made is that when the military said they were going to have a "surge" it should have been a real surge not this 30K troops. A REAL surge, as any military strategist will tell you, is at least 100K troops.
Thanks for your openness to hear my opinion.

He should certainly take both, he is the man at the top, and yes he, not unlike his predecessors, has made mistakes, how could he not, the man is tasked with defending us from an enemy or threat or what ever you want to call it, unlike any other we as a country have faced , there really is no president in our nations history.

How arrogant we are as a nation, to be spared involvement in this world wide reality that has been going on outside of our porous borders, and then when evil people bring their hate here, instead of addressing it, we attack the president.

I have friends in Europe and the middle east who have been living with this threat for decades, they don't spend time defending their attackers and attacking their defenders. They spend their time trying to live as normal a life as they can when a bomb is likely to go off any where at any time.

Maybe when that reality becomes ours, we'll spend more time defending ourselves and stop whining.

He, like many other presidents has done a lot of good, and a lot of bad.
I pick on Clinton a lot, but I also know that he did many good things. I'm grown up enough to even know that.

But one thing you will never hear any president do, with exception to Nixon, and, oh yeah, Clinton, is apologize for any action they take. Making constant apologies is not the mark of a true leader. Ask any CEO out there.

Bush's first mistake was listening to a democrat's appraisal of conditions in Iraq. George Tennant was appointed by Your hero Clinton to head the CIA and the faulty information spewed out by them positioned the US to start the war on Iraq. Bush's second mistake was playing a very bad numbers game with the troop levels to cover the occupation. His third mistake was not paying attention to how the allies handled Germany and Japan after WWII. That could have saved billions by preventing the insurgent growth. Since all those mistakes were made it is now necessary for Bush to stand firm and correct the errors instead of the cut and run approach of the libs. How about that cookie.

No, take the good with the bad.

Negative things on Bush's record

1. Not closing the border to Syria and Iran
2. Not explaining how war works
3. Not defending himself against liberal attacks.
4. Allowing the media to broadcast every death and bombing.
5. Not closing our borders
6. Not stopping the out of control Republican spending.
7. Attempting to appoint Harriet Myers to the Supreme Court.
8. Helping Mel Martinez become Senator.
9. Insult Americans with this amnesty bill

While he has done many good things, there are many bad.

..Seems you can ask the same question on the left.... Tell me one positive thing they have done? seems your question smacks of a righteous hypocrisy.

edit:

Maybe someone needs to learn the definition of taking criticism.... I don't answer many questions posted by Conservatives...If I want points like the county fair than I would just answer questions to agree with political buddies for an arbitrary feel good YA rating.

without mocking liberals.

You ask liberals what cons believe, and a different question
for conservatives.

Do you really want an answer or setting up another attack
opportunity. The logic here is non existent. I am putting you on block

He believed dems like Kennedy, Pelosi, Clinton, Kerry, etc, etc when they said Iraq had WMD's and Saddam had to be taken out.
Democrats have proven themselves to be hypocritical liars not to be trusted.

His one mistake was not going after the critics who distort the truth and putting out the good news that does come out of Iraq when the drive by media ignores it.

He tried to push amnesty. And he lost some support because of it.
