someone beside you decides you are going to slow so they switch lanes and when they get in the other lane you speed up so they can not get in front of you?? i do this from time to time when ppl piss me off by trying to be speed racer!!

I try not to, but sometimes the stupidity of the driver is infectious, and I'll go stupid, too. While I'm doing this, it feels right. Then, I'll go back to reality and force myself to behave.

I used to be the other guy, saying "Man, what's that person doing driving 45 in a 55 mph zone?" And I'd hump on over to the other lane and blow past them at about 70. Heaven help them if they tried to cut me off, or prevent me from coming back over. I may have been an aggressive driver in my youth, but I was usually never a danger to myself and others like that. Heck, I even passed a state trooper doing 65 once (yes, he pulled me over for being a donkey, but only gave me a warning)! Eventually I learned my lesson to slow down & be safe (a loooong story). If they pass you, so what? Why would you want to impede them from getting in front of you? Let them go be on their merry way and fugetaboutit! Keep driving within the speed limit & do it safely, please? If you won't do it for me, would you do it for yourself and your loved ones then?

Only when they're going 80. I'll speed up just so they can learn that speeding won't get them to their destination that much faster than me. Other drivers really hate me.

No, but i can't stand when people to that. My uncle is a state trooper so i make sure i get the car description and tag number and report them. The State normally sends them a fine.
