Love needs to be nurtured, right? If you have a beautiful plant & neglect it--sometimes for only a day depending on its needs--water, food, proper sunlight, <(there's an extra meaning here), groom, be gentle & love it, (plants know love, too) it will wither, & it will die. They can't find another place to thrive, like people do, but the concept is the same. Cats do, too. They'll leave & find another home if they're not happy. At the same time, people DO change & find new directions. That wouldn't be withering & dying, & can be very amicable. Love can evolve to friendship, just as the other way around. Nourish your love, & be sure you're being nourished, too.

Communication is the only way to keep it going. Without it what hope is there?
Yes it can wither and die-or even change-depending on how it was tended too.
Yes and No-- it can be build up to thrive again-in a new way--or it can search for a new place but than the old would be gone and not kept alive.

Love encompasses all positives and deals strongly with the negatives. It does not die or wither on the vine simply by itself. If it does, then it wasn't true love. Love doesn't have to find new places--love exists and is what it is. To me, it is the ability to give unabashingly and tenderly without thought of getting in return. It is not jealous, it is trusting, it is dignity at its finest, it is respectful, honorable, and the most wonderful expression or idea in human history. It overwhelms hatreds, intolerance, old ideas of war, it makes old things stale and fade away. Love is renewal without fear, without shame, it is open and inviting as an open door to a mansion, it thrives in all kinds of conditions, and the best part, true love is returned to you 100 times 100, and you can actually feel it...as I do.

Actually LOVE never dies. If u assumed it did, then it wasn't love at all. It's the lover and not love that withers and fades. It's the lover and not love that breaks the heart. A lover that ceases to love u might have began loving another...but that's just the reality of it...all we have fairly all the chances to love again.
I guess we can try not just to be lovers but likewise be friends. Grow together. Share freedom. Discover new things. Reserve some space for each own stuff. Understand changes, and be willing to forgive.

Love never dies if it is strong enough to withstian conflict. If you mistake love for a strong feeling of interest, it will die. Only true love stays between people or objects forever. It really depends, who the people or objects are and how they express their feelings of love toward eachother.
Sometimes if you loose love with one person or thing, you can meet a new love and love will live once again! To keep love alive, we must try to comprimise, and keep our own relationships going smoothly. However if we pretend to love, just to keep love alive, and have someone to love, we would just be creating another problem.
Love doesnt always work. But we must move on, or hang on (depends what kind of relationship you are in). Love is so general. You can love a family member, you can love an animal, you can love a partner, or friend. You will see how love finds its way to you, or drifts away from you. But love has a way to make everything right in the end.
If you are not inlove anymore, it might hurt but there are reasons. The way to keep love alive is to just start with your own love, its not the quantity of love, its the quality. <3

The energies of love never die, they may be lost or thrown a way. Take a loving memory for instance, even if the ties of this memory have been severed for what ever reason, that memory will always contain the energy of love. If you think that you are drifting apart from a loved one, its not the love drifting, its the human mind not creating that love energy or just no longer excepting that energy. Love always prevail. Love lives on!

How can you keep Love alive? I do not know how other Couples keep their Love alive, but I have always told my Husband before he goes to work, that I Love him and to be careful on the way to and from work. We enjoy each others company, he tells me what happened at his workplace and I tell him about my day. At night before we go to Sleep we always tell each other I Love you, if during the night the Good Lord decides that one of us has to go, at least we know we were Happy together always. This has been done for 49 years and I do not think we get tired of each other, he was born for me, and I, for him.

Escape, from time to time, the repetitive routing of the day by day living. Is your life is getting bored you have a big problem in all the facets of your world, including the love.
Sometimes doing nonsense, stupid or creative things are good engines to restart the love.

I think I'll go with the Joy Division song. I like the titles of the first two but I don't like the softer approach The Eagles have taken over the past few years. And if I never heard that Captain and Tennille song again in my lifetime, that would be okay with me! lol.

First of all stop reading all the psycho babble that is printed about how to keep love alive. And just love. For in love is love reflected and stop trying to make someone out to be something other than what they are, accept that there is always going to be one of the other who loves more, who can express it more, and who can move mountains to keep it alive.
DON'T MAKE LOVING SO HARD. IT is the first thing we learn as babies....it is love that we cherish with our last breath as we transend from our earthly existence...............
