Yes, it is possible but you have alot against you. First of all, PCOS inhibits ovulation and without ovulation there is no chance of pregnancy. Secondly, being overweight inhibits ovulation and causes problems with pregnancy. If you are set on having a baby now then I would encourage you to set a weight loss goal like 20lbs. and don't ttc until you reach your goal. This is because you will gain weight with the pregnancy and weighing 300lbs and being pregnant will be hard on your body. Also, if you are not ovulating, some ob/gyn's are hesitant to prescribe ovulation medication to women who are very overweight. Don't let this stop you though...lose a little weight and if your dr. won't prescribe it, find a new dr. Best of luck!

Hi I am also Daignois with PCOS I am 135lbs and I was trying for sometime to get pregnant on my own, I finally visit the dr In March he perscribe clomid 50mg for me I used it in April & May, May 21st was my last cycle, The clomid is to help you ovulate by playing a trick on the brain to release more eggs, I didnt had a period last month and still is waiting for a period, Having PCOS means irreguler cycles, so i'll be hard to predict ovulation, either you'll ovulate every 3 months or so or you wouldnt at all, I guess i didnt ovulate thats why my period is late I took a pregnancy test and it came back (-) so whenever my next cycle comes I'll be taking clomid100mg, God bless our ovaries and every other Woman out there trying to conceive with PCOS, BAby Dust to you, Nad losing weight is the best thing for you to do, you can talk to your Dr about you trying to conceive and he'll probably perscribe Melformin for you its a pill use for tpye 2 Dabetes patients

270lbs. is very heavy. If a person at that weight gets pregnant (which is not likely) they will either gain 55lbs from the pregnancy or none. Which means the baby will be a very low birth weight which is bad. Do the right thing and lose the weight, then you will not only get pregnant but have a healthy baby too.
