I need help picking out a girl baby name. Here are some that I like:

Allegra
Alexandria (Lexie for short)
Sasha
Breseis (Bre-SAY-is)
Isla (Eye-la)
Lola
Savannah
Voila
Maeby
Ella

I also like the following names but worry that they are too popular.

Ava
Alexis
Lily
Lauren

Any suggestions? Our last name is Keymer.

Thanks!

Allegra - like it and it sounds good with Keymer

Alexandria (Lexie for short) - love it and sounds v good with Keymer!!

Sasha - not keen but q nice

Breseis (Bre-SAY-is) - noooo!

Isla (Eye-la) - don't think it goes too well with your last name

Lola - not bad!

Savannah - again not sure with Keymer

Voila - sorry but no!

Maeby - people will think it's "Maybe" and it sounds a bit unsure!

Ella - love the name Ella but I think other names go better with your last name

Personally I would go with Alexandria Lily Keymer cos I think it goes really well and then you get a mix of less popular and popular names! Plus Lexie Keymer is sooooo cute!

My top three from you choices:
1. Sasha
2. Ella
3. Lola

For some alternatives for the ones you think are too popular you could try:
Ava..
Eve
Eva
Aveline
Avis
Adra
Iva
Aida/ Ada
Mavis

Alexis..
Alessia
Paris
Lexia
Alexia
Lexine

Lily..
Lilia
Leela
Layla
Lillian
Bella
Sally
Jill/ Jillian
Leah
Rosie
Daisy
Violet

Lauren..
Laure
Laurel
Lorelei
Lorena
Lorraine
Corrine
Coral
Lara
Lorna

Otherwise, name with a "c/k" sound in the middle will flow well with your last name.
Something like:
Brooklyn Keymer
Dakota Keymer
Skye Keymer
Nicolette Keymer
Pascal Keymer
Scarlett Keymer
Victoria Keymer

Hope that helps! :)

You're kidding with Maeby and Voila, right? Do you know how much teasing your daughter will get if you name her Maeby? Boys will always be saying Maeby seh will, Maeby she won't. And Voila is what french chefs and magicians say when things go perfectly. Unless you meant Viola, like the musical instrument. Breseis and Isla will NEVER ever be pronounced or spelled right and your poor child will go through life explaining it to everyone. Go with one of the other names, PLEASE!

I agree that the last 4 are too popular. I personally like Ella. Around here, Alexandria is very popular as well. My favorite girl name is Kealy.

Sorry, I prefer Grace Ellen "Gracie for short. Thinking ahead be aware of what her signature will look like and what vocational path she may choose. Some trendy names won't be appreciated by a forty-something business executive. Good Luck and Congrats on the new Baby!

They are all very cute names. You really don't want a very popular name. Then your kid will end up being called something like well for example Lauren K. Here are some suggestions:

Evelyn

Reese

Tana

Bridget

Sophie

Celeste

Melody

Melanie

Crystal

Dawn

Emerald (Nickname could be Emy)

Lorelai

Kendra

Keara

Falynn (My favorite)

Irma

Isabella

Aubrey

Audrey

Giselle

Harley

Rochelle

Victoria
