Could they tell this by just doing a normal pap smear, or are further tests needed?

Also, would they normally let you know this with a pap smear? I've had several and nobody has ever mentioned it.

Unless it is dramatically tilted, it is just a variation of normal. It doesn't affect most women trying to conceive. Hey, I got pregnant the first time I had sex, so it can't be that bad. But, yes, for some women with considerable tilt, it may be a problem and it can be fixed.

when they do a pap spear they do an exam also. All it took for them to tell I had a tilted uterus was one exam. Good luck and god bless!

i was told i had a tilted womb and that my cervics were to far to the left when my dr. did a pelvic exam there were no test after that but ofcourse i had already gone into labor soo im not sure of how it would be pre labor, but i did have to have a c-section because of it

they can tell frim a pelvic exam. A tilted uterus can make it harder to concieve, but my mother has one and had 3 kids in 4 yrs!!!
