i know morning sickness is generally called morning sickness because it occurs in the morning. i also know that it can occur at any given time of the day, but most usually- in the mornings. i work night shift. i've worked this shift for about two years now, so my body is pretty much adjusted to it- the sleep pattern and such. even on the days that i'm off work, i find it hard to sleep at night since i'm so used to being up. do you think since my body thinks that night is day- that i could be having morning sickness at around 4 p.m.? That's normally around the time i wake up every evening. or, do you think im just worrying way too much?

I would think so. I mean, your body is used to being up at all hours of the night and sleep most of the day- and since you usually wake up around 4 pm, your body could easily confuse this with morning time.

Best of luck and baby dust if you're trying!

no cause as u stated above, u can have "morning sickness" anytime. your body is not meant to work at nights, so no it will not adjust to think it's morning sickness at 4 pm.

its all day sickenss! the reason its more severe in the AM is your stomach is empty, so you feel nausious right away. if 4pm is your wake up time then, yes, thats your "morning" sickenss
