Why not something that you are a fan of/do....shooting a free throw from the point of getting the ball from the ref to the follow-through....just go through the motion a few times, take notes and then write the essay.

How to organize a benifit dinner. You could choose a 'cause' that is meaningful to you and write a process essay on how to orgsnize a house party to educate/enlighten others. There are even examples and instructions available through various non profits (Amnesty International, Bead for Life, etc)

Good luck.

Write something that you're interested-- maybe you could write an essay about an author you like, or someone you believe made a huge impact on the world we have today.

Honestly, if you want to write, you have to write something you feel a passion for-- otherwise, you'll get bored.

How about an essay on how to write essays. There seem to be numerous queries about essays on this site, so it is obviously something people have trouble with.

Here are some ideas:

How to volunteer in your community (steps you have to take, call an organization like your local Hospice or Salvation Army and ask what you have to do)

How to help your environment (processes you can do and the end result of many people doing so)

I had to do this for school last year. I cheerlead so I did mine on cheerleading. I had friends did "How To Make A Pizza," "How To Make a Peanutbutter, and Jelly Sandwich," "How To Make a Cake," and "How To Make Brownies." I noticed the food ones really go over good, especially if you are presenting this and have to perform the "How To." Everyone loves the presentation, and they get to eat it when its done! Good Luck!
