i had my baby june 22 and still havent recieved a check

I got my first short term disability check right around the time my 6 weeks was up and it was for a lump sum amount for all the time I was off. It sucks and comes late but it's still better than nothing! The good thing about the time I had my baby was tax return time! I had him then 3 weeks later I was able to do my tax return then a week or so later I had my money!

Depends. Is is state, which one, or federal? I am in California and it took me weeks to get my first check. I don't think there was any regularity in which they arrived. Sometimes it was fast and other times it was over a month. Good luck!

It took 2 weeks before I got my first one, but then they came regularly.

mines came liek about 4 weks after my baby was born

took almost a year to get it for my kids! It was a big one when I finally got it!
