Does anyone know what the difference is between these motherboards? I have seen that one has 4xDIMM slots and the other has 2xDIMM, but what other differences are there. Have been sold one on ebay and the description was for the other one. Want to check I have not been ripped off. Also which one is best etc.

The difference is one is based on NVIDIA nForce chipset, and the other is based on VIA K8 chipset.
They have similar capabilities.
Though usually the A8V is a little cheaper since performance buyers want the nForce chipset for overclocking. If you buy the N and got the V, you got ripped off, albeit slightly.
