Yogurt has active cultures in it that puts the good bacteria back into your intestinal tract. (The antibiotics destroy all bacteria-including the good bacteria that help aid digestion and absorption of nutrients.) You can also buy Lactinex "over the counter" from any pharmacy (you have to ask for it, it's refrigerated.) It will also reintroduce the good bacteria into your system.
Good luck to you.

your baby is so small that it is getting plenty of nutrients form whatever you are eating or have stored up in your fat reserves. Did you stop the antiboitics on dr's orders, or did the presctiption end? Daireeah can be a side effcet of antibiotics, but over the counter remedies may make it worse. Try to get more fiber to help slow your digestion down, and keep your fluid intake up.

You could try the BRAT diet... Banana's, rice, apple sauce, toast. It works for very young children... my son had horrible diarrhea that a cause could not be determined. I put him on that diet and 3 days later it was gone. Make sure you keep drinking lots of water... Gatorade is good as well.

Eat lots of foods with starch in it. Stay away from foods with high fiber content that will make you poop more,,, greasy foods are a no no as well... good luck.
