I've always had boobs on the large size but they seem to be gradually getting larger. I've even lost 2 stone and am now 9 stone but the boob size hasn't changed. Just wondering if I breastfeed when I have a baby would this reduce the breast size? Hate my boobies

after you are done breastfeeding or even if you don't breastfeed at all, when your milk dries up, your boobs will go back to the same size but will be a little saggy. this happened to me and i breastfed and have tiny boobs before and after.

I always think mine got "smaller" too, but really I think that the texture has changed, not the size. They're not as perky, but I wouldn't quite say saggy. Just in between. Also, it's not just breastfeeding that will make them seem smaller. Just having a pregnancy at all changes them. They will be even larger while you are pregnant and breastfeeding, then lose some of their body afterward, regardless of if you breastfeed or not.

that certainly happened for me...I have been always of the small type but after breastfeeding they shrunk more! I'm just waiting after I have a second baby and breastfeed to have a boob job because I hate them too.

They will get bigger while you are breastfeeding and go back to their regular size after- just not with the same elasticity they had before.

I would think you would want to breastfeed because it is best for your baby- not to make your breast size go smaller.

I've been breastfeeding for over 2 years now and my breasts are still a 34c. I'm not producing any milk anymore so they will stay this size. They aren't quite as firm as they were, but with my bra on you can't tell!

Everyone is different.
***Mine (nursed for 18 months) stayed the same bra size, but lost their firmness - husband says "they're squishy" now.
***My sister's shrank a bit (nursed for 2 weeks).
***My cousin's got bigger with first(nursed 3 months), from a D to an F cup, then after her twins got even bigger (nursed exclusively for 2 months, then 50/50 formula/breast for 4 more months) - she ended up cutting them off at 6 months because of back problems and her insurance finally agreed to pay for a breast reduction... her pain was so great she cut the poor kids off cold turkey from their 50% breastmilk diet!!

if you start out with big breasts they can get smaller after breastfeeding. My sister has always been skinny and big busted, after her babies were born and fed she went down a cup size and up a band size, which made life alot easier for her.

The only time I had breasts big enough to fit in a regular bra (not a training bra) was when I was nursing. Usually wore A, when nursing it was a C. Loved it. Stopped nursing, and I've got an A again :(

Not from my experience. I am a 38dd and I have nursed 3 babies, seems they are getting rounder as well. LOL
Initially when the milk empties they sag a little but eventually the tissue rebuilds and tightens back up. Mine are no saggier than before I nursed, but I bench press as well, so that might help.
Best wishes!=)

No, that's a myth. It is the pregnancy itself that changes the size of your breasts. When your milk dries up, your size will go down though.
