Take Steven Jackson with the 2nd pick. Johnson is already planning on holding out cause of contract problems. At least, that was the last thing I heard on him anyway. Steven Jackson is younger and better in my opinion. The Rams will be a better team this yr also. Chiefs lost a few guys to retirement as well as some free agency and trades that happened in the offseason. I don't think you want a troubling problem to start out the season in fantasy football. Be hard to overcome most likely unless you trade him away immediately. Good luck in your league !

Larry Johnson. No question. If he holds out for a better contract, he can come in with 2 days of prep and still have a 200 yard game against Houston in week 1.

If Marc Bulger holds out and doesn't sign a contract with the Rams, you get 37-year-old Gus Frerotte as your QB. He threw 3 passes last year and completed one of them. Defenses will be in all-blitz, all-the-time mode, and Jackson won't be able to get his wheels turning.

These are worst-case scenarios, of course, but I would take Larry Johnson any day over Steven Jackson.

Last year I had both!!! Another banner to hang from the ceiling. This year I went with Jax #2 in my draft. LJ is of course going to be solid, I don't trust the KC offense to move the ball. The argument is that LJ will get a chance at all of KC's TD's, and that is true. However, Jax will get a high percentage (compared to nearly 100% with LJ) of more attempts. Let me clarify. The Chiefs are alow scoring team. Passing game is horrendous and the O line shaky at best. Rams are one of the top scoring teams every year, and this year is no exception (don't listen to those rumors about a Bulger hold out...won't happen). Would you rather have 100% of 30 goal line TD chances or 75% of 55? Me too!

I have to say larry Johnson... he plays on a team that needs him more, has a system that is built around him and I just think he has proven himself more than jackson...so far

I think Jackson is more versatile and though LJ will have more yards Steven is getting into his groove with Linehan and Bulger. The rams will be tough this year.

Jackson. The chiefs offense is not going to be very good this year. No QB, No O line....etc. Jackson in the Rams offense always has the ability to make you points.

If LT is not there? Haha. Take L.Johnson, he has a better o-line and if Marc Bulger's contract negotiations do not go through the Rams may not have a good QB which means 8 in the box

Steven Jackson, he will dominant this season. LJ is very good i had him on my team last year but he does not have a good o line.

Stephen Jackson is the better choice. Not only does he get you rushing yards, but he led the league in catches and recieving yards among RB's last year.

believe it or not, he had more total yards than LT last year.
I'd definitely go with Jackson

steve jack.. bulger wants to end his career in st. louie. LJ is a bigger holdout risk than bulger, and if LJ ends up getting traded to a place like green bay, the line there isnt that great and the qb situation is getting rocky. bulger's backup is frerotte, and he is one of the most capable backups in the league. the rams have lots of weapons, so i wouldnt worry about steve jack getting boxed much. LJ on the other hand, worry about it
