Pulstar plugs is a ground breaking spark plug design. Do some research on it, they also have independent lab results that are nothing short of amazing for a spark plug. Proven increase in HP, TQ, Emissions and even fuel economy. But dont take my word for it, just go the web page and read why its so good. It basically boils down to having a capacitor built into the plug which gives a 5 MEGA WATT pulse for the spark as compared to 50 watts for an average spark plug. Its simply amazing what they have done. They also have independent Dyno results.

Hello, Without spending a ton of cash the BOSH spark plugs work great, and you dont have to gap them, they are pre gap-ed at the factory. If you want to take a trip on the high buck stuff look for E3 plugs that burn super clean. With only a 4 banger it just might be worth it.
Good luck.

i like factory parts. more so in foreign cars, but on my domestics i tend to stick to factory also.
a lot of other engine manufacturers use NGK plugs oem, specifically honda/acura. when it came time to replace my plugs, the local store didn't have the ngk's in stock, so i bought bosch plus 4's and the car ran worse! (developed a slight miss - seriously.) I ordered the ngk's and have never looked back.
spend a couple/three bucks a plug and get a decent plug - (ac/delco or ngk?) but don't jump onto a 'gimmick' bandwagon for 4 or 5 bucks/plug. also "platinum plugs" don't produce a better spark - they resist erosion better - meaning they last longer without reducing performance...

spark plugs are just part of the ignition system. Some people recommend originals, but I have good luck with the more expensive plugs, in that they last longer. Also put a drop of anti seize on the threads prior to installation. Just remember to keep the whole system maintained. do you need a cap and rotor? New wires? Better air flow in and out?

the ones that fit and have the right heat range. check with your local parts store. and stay away from the fancy plugs that have multiple electrodes unless they came that way from the factory.
