They have this new deal where you can get three services for $99 all together like cable, internet and landline. What are the perks for it and is it worth getting or is it just some bull.

I have similar from Comcast. No catch. Now instead of fighting over long distance service they fight over the whole communications package.
Verizon is selling something similar called FIOS, the catch there is that Verizon removes the copper wire connection - your using FIOS or nothing after you sign up. It's a big brew ha-ha in the press lately.

not really catch
the internet is dsl, so its slower and no where near as good as cable
the tv is average, you dont get as many channels
and the phone service is CRAP because its voice over IP, which means your phone is over the INTERNET, not traditional phone line, and the internet breaks up ur calls and it is really bad quality.
also you cant use 911 or something, theres problems with VoIP calls.

i am just a kid but my dad works for at&t and we have it our internet works really good now and their cable is super because you can watch 4 shows at once and my dad said the land line is super
