Why do girls make a big deal when a guy burps or farts or itches/picks nose...it's human nature!!!!!!!!
Shouldn't we just be who we are and stop being phony to look cultured?
It's not going to hurt you?!

*P.S. Why you tell us to leave the toilet seat down? Why don't you leave it up instead?

I have been in the same relationship w/ my ex for 8 years. I loved him. He could pick his nose, burp or fart in front of me. I would make comments jokingly towards him. When you love someone it shouldn't matter.

Now the seat thing, be respectful. I dont' wanna wake up during the middle of the night and try and pee and fall through the toilet! I would be quite upset. Since us females sit to do our duty and you men have to sit and stand, its just respect! Before I had a man the seat was down and now what I don't have a man the seat will continue to be down. Its just thoughtful and respectful!

Ok, I was raised in an all-male household.

That being said, I live with a roomie who was raised with the works for family. She's got to have everything clean and insists we help, even though she's the one who makes the biggest messes.

I'm pretty sure that girls don't like natural behavior because they were raised to think that it wasn't something that they should do, at least not in public. Guys feel comfortable being who they are, for the most part. But girls aren't comfortable with natural urges because they were raised to think that those things shouldn't be done except in privacy. It's a socialization thing.

As for toilet seat down, that's because you guys leave both parts up and we have to put the bottom part down when we need to use it. No clue about the top part, other than to keep the pets out of it.

Because we're supposed to be intelligent civilized human beings. That's what separates us from the other animals. If you want to live like a wild animal with no sense of decorum go into the jungles where you can do all of that with the other less intelligent creatures. Beside it's just not classy.

We leave the toilet seat down with the lid closed so when we flush we don't spread fecal matter and germs throughout the bathroom.

I'm glad I don't live with you. Good luck. 2D

i'm married to a burping-farting machine! i don't complain about it unless he farts on me. because he does that sometimes, like to win an argument. but my friends start squealing and stuff if he burps or farts around them. and really, i don't know why. maybe that's why they're all single. and pretend that they don't burp and fart. as far as the toilet seat thing goes, i am always a big one on this. i put both the toilet cover back down everytime i use the toilet... and i ask him to do the same. after all, he didn't spend 45 bucks on a matching toilet seat cover for our bathroom, for it to hide and nobody to see. it's better fen shui anyway. haha. but yeah.

maybe you should just stop dating phony girls... and look for a real one. they're out there. plenty. but you aren't going to find a trophy wife who lets you burp and fart as you please. those just don't exist. you'll have to give some to get some.

good luck on your quest.

I think it's more a question of doing those things in public. What someone does in private is their own business......or the business of themselves and their spouse...but in public it just becomes rude.

As for the toilet seat issue.......BOTH genders should leave the lid down. Toilets spray the water as far as 20 feet when they are flushed. If the lid is up, then the dirty water is being sprayed around the bathroom. Speaking for myself, I prefer to brush my teeth with a clean toothbrush, not one with waste particles in it.

I think that you're going by TV and not what you've seen in real life.. I never really met a woman who complains about the toilet seat being left up or any crap like that. I think you're the one who need sto get real and stop watching tv.. lol.
