They probably would. As for me, I'll be watching the falling
buildings and running around trying to dodge the debris (hopefully the attacks won't be worse then that).

This is such a non sequitur. Are supporters of the war feeling guilty for the thousands of deaths currently being committed? How about the troops?
I thought people like you support the troops? How many of them have died? How many will die between now and our eventual pullout? What is a justifiable number?
Let's look at Vietnam as an example. Many people wanted to pull out in the mid 60s but people like you said, "No, we don't want those who have died to have died in vain." So we remained in the country for a while longer and pulled out all the same. How do you think the families of the troops who were killed in the interim felt?

Do YOU feel guilty for all of the American and Iraqi deaths caused so far?
Hmm... Pull out and MAYBE cause deaths, or stay they and guarantee it. Which would I choose? Pull out!
The biased conservative media doesn't show you just how bads things are over there. We've destroyed their country, killed hundreds of thousands of innocents, and thousands of Americans are coming home dead or maimed, but you won't see THAT in the mainstream media! The American public does not see what destruction we are causing to that country.

I already feel guilty about the deaths of 650 000 Iraqis many of whom were women and children, who were killed because the US attacked Iraq a sovereign nation. The US could stay for decades but there will still be chaos there. The US needs to secure its borders to protect from the terrorists who have been bred in Iraq after the US invasion.

It's called ethics. I'm a democrat, but I love President Bush's ethics. He's rather go down as the worst President in history (short term judgment) than do what's wrong.
My party is setting itself up badly.

They wouldn't feel guilty.
The biased liberal media wouldn't show the pictures of Iraq if we pulled out. The American public would never see what destruction would come to that country if we left.

Do you have the same passion for action in Darfur? Where genocide is currently taking place? Just wondering if there is a difference in your mind.
