My mama thought I was butt ugly, she had to tie a porkchop around my neck just to get the neighbors kids to play wid me. Then they would just beat me up and take my porkchop away.....
My kid turned out fantastic though!

I think its normal to worry about just about everything when you are pregnant! You have never seen this little person and you want for everything in its life to be perfect....why not want it to be beautiful. If it is an overwhelming concern or your #1 concern....than yeah that is kindof strange. It is most important for your baby to be healthy, and there are a lot more important characteristics like intelligence and personality.

I have seen beatiful children come from 'ugly' parents! And not-so-beautiful children come from beautiful parents. It's not a strange worry but it would be on the bottom of my worry list if I was about to have a baby!

No, I think it's perfectly normal. It goes along with all the other things we worry about when we're pregnant. Don't worry, even if your child really is ugly, you'll never know. You'll only see a beautiful baby.

No one really thinks their baby is ugly. Its actually the exact opposite. You will see your baby for the first time and fall in love with him/her immediately and you will think it is the most beautiful baby ever. Don't worry, everyone has weird thoughts during pregnancy.

No, a lot of mothers probably worry about that, but in the end every mother usually thinks usually thinks their baby is beautiful, whether anyone else does or not.

Newborn babies are kind of ugly-- their heads are coneshaped, their faces are wrinkled, they have a weird coating all over them-- but they quickly get cute. You'll probably think your baby is the cutest thing in the world, but it's okay if you don't-- you will be the second week.

Everyonone wants the best for their children, even in their looks. I don't think it will be a problem though, I've never known a mother to not think her child(ren) are the most beautiful people in the world.
