Every other day is the best. It gives the sperm time to build up and makes it more potent. Start counting the days from the day you start your period. Make sure that you have sex on the 14th day after you start. Do NOT have sex the day before. Prop your butt up on pillows and stay there for about 10 minutes after you get done. This helps the sperm to make their way to your uterus and gives them time. This is how I got pregnant and the doctor was the one who told me to do it. Good luck.

Your theory totally makes sense and it might just work. But sometimes, for whatever reason, you just don't get pregnant even if you have a lot of sex around your ovulation day - even if both people have no fertility issues. I'm in my 3rd month of TTC, I've been charting my BBT and using the OPK, I know that our timing is right for sex, but it hasn't happened yet. I choose to chart because I want to see how consistent my cycles and ovulation are. Good luck to you!

Sperm can live up to 4 days if the environment is optimum for it, i.e., wet or egg white cervical mucus. have you tried taking your basal temperature and start charting? BBT can't tell you when you ovulate before you ovulate, only after you ovulated. But It help me understand my cycle a lot better, and pinpoint when I ovulated each cycle. All I can say is keep trying... you will get a positive test soon...

I have actually been doing the same exact thing for the last month & am actually starting to have pregnancy symptoms. I think that if you do have sex everyday between periods, then you'll have a pretty good chance at becoming pregnant. Hope everything works out & good luck!

it may take a little than you expected it took me 6 months and am 3 months gone,my secret was (1) destress your self, eat healthy ,if over weight loose weight, start trying from 10days after your period ,make sure you enjoy sex not like a chore,i would also recomend you do the doggy style as it allows sperm to be deposited as close as possible to the eggs to fertilise ,hope this little tip of mine helps, good luck.

Try this plan next month if this one didnt work for you - this is my 4th month ttc and i am tryin this today is the first day of the positive ov test.
You may not want to have sex so often cuz he will not be able to build up a good amount of sperm.
