How true! I am a middle-of-the-roader and I do not claim republican, democrat or independent party affiliation. I am not liberal or conservative because the media coined those two terms to confuse the already confused voters. I would like to see the USA create and properly maintain a universal health care system that is not controlled by the big business insurance conglomerates, the AMA or the pharmaceutical companies. If we have the best health care system in the civilized world, why don't we PROVE it to those countries that have universal health care now, such as Canada, Britain, Japan, Germany, Italy and Cuba!

The arguing and discussion is nice, but sometimes the methods are a bit counterproductive. I am glad for differences in opinion, and I am glad for even those 'heated discussions.'
The only problem is when people name call... you're not going to change people's minds calling them 'traitorous terrorist cowards' or 'yellow-bellied chickenhawks.' Those are entertaining, but have no place in the serious political forum.
Having more parties could be a... potentially bad thing. If there were 5 major political parties and simple majority was needed to win a position, one could win with 21% of the vote... that would not reflect the general populations thoughts. See the California recall election. There were so many different candidates that, if everyone was relatively equal, one could win with a very, very small percentage of the voters. Changes in the election process would be necessary to accompany more than say, 3 major parties.

actually if there is a multi-party system there is still ineratia (nothing gets done) since there is even more ppl fighting. I think the system we have now would benefit if we just let third parties come to the big debates and make it easier for them to get on the ballot in every state. This way it would hopefully make some americans rub a couple of brain cells together and get them thinking about what they want.
I would have to also suggest that the problem with solution is that air and the water ways are public property. If having private property for air and water than my friend you could sue for pollution damages.

I don't understand, for example, what does Hitlery Clinton have to argue with McNasty (McPain, as he was called in school) about?

The time for when politicians were for what is best for America has past.
It's "us" against "them".
