Hi, Hitan2005,
I have checked for your question in MSN Live Account.
Goto https://account.live.com/ and enter your username and password.
Your will find a common task panel in your right hand side, then you may choose the "Cancel Account" inside the panel.(is not locate in very obvious location)
Just click on it and the page will redirect to cancellation process.

It would probably be best to ask customer service for MSN, but I had MSN many years back and still have my email address. Not saying it will be the same for you, but I think you should be ok.

Another way is to just call MSN and tell them to cancel the address.

I mean itz possilble to make the emails you send and recieve go to a different email...
For example, if u sent an email as Linkinparker@hotmail.com, you could change it so everyone would see that you sent it as someone else...
and also, when you recieve messages, there is a way to make them go to another email...
But you can get rid of an email somehow... i think...
