We haven't got to legos yet, we're still on duplos, etc.. I must say though, it's a toss-up between those and the Brio trains for my favorite of my son's toys. It's just so satisfying to put them together - there are so many colors. Even if you just make and take apart random shapes (as my 18 month old does) what you create is inevitably kind of attractive. I don't know. They are just cool. Usually when I build things I try to build either houses or simple vehicles. I honestly can't wait for real legos. We're going to be going nuts as a family over here. I don't know how to explain the appeal - he has a couple other different sorts of blocks and the lego type win out, hand's down.

I dont have any kids... but I love playing with legos. We have a huge box of them at home and bring them out at parties, you would be surprised at how many people just sit right down and start building. Its quite funny to watch and very enjoyable at the same time. Great question!!!

ya i did but after walking on them a few times in the dark. i found a way to make them go away...LOL>.. no more leg..ouches
