when you are pregnant you feel flutters all the time, at first its gas, stretching uterus, blood flow etc. As time goes on you feel more, and you wonder if its the baby, but its too faint and fleeting to know for sure. Quickining is when you feel the baby move, and know without a doubt that its waht you are feeling, usualy 16-20 weeks (earlier for some, later for others)

You know, now that I've had two kids, every once in a while it will feel like I'm about 4 months pregnant. I'll feel a gentle flutter or tiny movement like bubbles moving in my belly. I know it's gas or something of that sort, but that's what it felt like with my babies. It's the most amazing feeling, knowing it's a precious little life inside you. Then at 7 or 8 months they're goosing ya in the ribs with their feet... LOL.
