They got tons of it. It is much closer than Iran and Iraq, a piece of cake and cheap too, just across the border.

All I can say is bring it on. Based on your previous wars we don't need to worry too much, we'll just put all of our signs in French and your dumbas s commanders will think they are in Europe somewhere. And for the record, I AM NOT anti-American, my mother was born there, both sets of grandparents were as well and I am married to a descendant of a former President. I had my 3 sons bring supplies to Americans after 9-11 who couldn't get home. My oldest is in Afghanistan fighting side by side with you all. I am glad views like yours are the minority but should that ever change, we have more friends than the US could ever hope to have and while we are a nuke free country, we have all the necessary materials and the ability to produce nukes should we ever need them so be careful what you ask for.Hopefully this answer will set a record for thumbs down. Peace out....

Why not invade Canada?

How about because that is exactly the type of expansionist aggression that veterans from both countries fought two world wars to stop. For America to adopt a similar policy of aggression would be an insult to U.S. military veterans of those wars.

How do you think your ally Britain would react to your invading a country that is a member of the British Commonwealth? Do you think the Russians would stand idly by if such an act was committed by the U.S.A.?

World opinion would turn against America faster than a politician accepts a campaign donation.

They haven't tried to invade an ally (like Kuwait), pay suicide bombers to kill the civilians of another ally (like Israel), haven't repeatedly broken a cease-fire for ten years by attacking our troops over the no fly zone, haven't bragged about having WMDs for those same ten years to their buddies and how they were fooling the U.N. and U.S., and didn't try to assassinate one of our Presidents.

In other words, they've done nothing to jeopardize their sovereignty like Iraq did repeatedly.

Most of us get this. How about you?

We have already done that... a lot of those oil interests in Canada are leased by American petroleum companies.

We kicked your *** once - and we could probably do it again, and we would probably have a helluva lot more allies backing us up because Canada isnt as aggressive and obnoxious as our neighbours are.

How would you fight a war without the Cdns to bail your *** out for you and rescue your hostages?

Bring it on Yank..
