Odds are, it is a scam. However, they can scam you in more ways than one. I have never dealt with "ripped wallet" but these online work at home scams can steal money in a few different ways.

1. Wanting up front fees. You have already said you are not going to give them any money. Good news.

2. Stealing ID. They will ask for your social security number, birthday, mother's maiden name and all sorts of stuff. They may not ask for all of that but they will probably ask for enough information to steal you ID. Never give this stuff to just anyone.

3. Stealing your bank account. They will want you to give them your bank account information so they can pay you. They will then empty the account or use it for illegal purposes. At the very least, they can compile a list of these accounts and sell the list. A lot of money can be made selling lists like these.

4. They try to get you with some other scam. Such as the check cashing scam or the package forwarding scam. If they pay you with a check or money order and then tell you to wire them back money out of it then it is a scam. If they send you a package and tell you to ship it to another address (especially out of the country), it is a scam. Both of these will cost you and/or get you into legal trouble.

Personally, I would do business with someone like this unless I could go to their office and talk face to face. Even then, I would be extremely wary and not do business with them unless I did a lot of research. Do not accept testimonials as evidence of them being a good business. Also, get their phone number and call them directly. If they will only deal with you thru email then you do not need them.

Run for your life and hold onto your wallet. This 'ripped wallet" has to have THE worst reputation I've ever seen .Makes it that much harder for the true opportunities to have respectability. I know a lot of people say there are no good work at businesses ,but it's not true . I have my own and it's 100% legit and 100% free. I had my own bad experiance with surveys and I would never suggest them to anyone!
I won't give you mine here. No spamming! But I will lead you to another site. on request
