When I go to http://www.orangecountydebtsettlement.com and select to make my font size larger, it increases and distorts the template. When I go to http://www.calcoastwebdesign.com and make the text selection larger in my browser, it doesn't distort t. Both sites were created similarly with templates. Why doesn't CalCOastWebdesign.com have the text size increase?

Internet Explorer won't resize type that has been sized in pixels (px), which has been done on the second site. Firefox will resize either one. In Firefox, the first site has some elements out of place.

By the way, the templates used for these sites make them nearly impossible to edit unless you use the same software that created them.

When coding a web page there are codes that can be used to turn off a person's option to resize the web page's text. This allows the designer to have more control over what the user will see on the page. Unfortunately it can make a web page very hard to view if you have a high resolution, fussy monitor, or bad vision. Luckily, I use Firefox which completely ignores that part of the code and allows you to set whatever size you want. :-)
