My daughter learned from her cousin how to get out of her crib. It only took one fall for her to figure out that it hurts when she climbs out. She did pretty well at staying in her crib after that, as long as I didn't have anything for her to climb on next to the crib. I would start getting a toddler bed and working with her to sleep in it and stay in it. That way she is already accustome to it before she is really getting out of the crib often. Or try putting her to be in a playpen, it is low to the ground and still fairly tall.

Try a crib tent or use a play pen as a crib. I had one that was used for several different things, and I put the crib mattress from the top on the bottom of the playpen.

Well, way back when i was at that age, i believe that my mom put the mattress on the ground, and then put the rails to the crib all the way up. I was able to climb over the crib rails.
The crib tent seems to be a popular item as well.
I'm not sure how safe putting the mattress on the ground is. It's worth a shot, just make sure there is nothing to harm your baby.

they don't really make cribs for very tall children. you might have to transition your little one to a toddler bed before you are ready. however, that's not always so bad. don't try to add height to the crib with anything else as that could be dangerous and you should never try to aftermarket add on to things like cribs or carseats. glad your child is healthy, sorry it's a pain in the butt.

I've never hear of anything like that and I had the same problem..move him into a playpen alot of times they can't crawl outta that but if he's trying to get out he may just need to be moved into a toddler bed.

sleep sacks worked for us, although might be a little late on thisone to get used to, even though halo makes pretty big ones for even toddlers
