You can't just build fences. Have you considered wildlife migration? It would wipe out huge herds that migrate with the seasons.
Also if you watch Michael Moore's new film it actually demonstrates Americans sneaking into Canada illegally.
BTW there are no terrorist training camps in Canada. Why would you believe such nonsense?

Why should there be a fence along the Canadian border? We do not have immigration issues with Canadians crossing the border illegally.
More importantly, the relationship between the United States and Canada is far different than the relationship between the United States and Mexico. The USA and Canada behave like loving siblings who have some disputes, but they are minor in nature and they usually work themselves out. The USA and Mexico do not have the same type of relationship.
Personally, I think we should lessen the security on the Canadian border to promote more interaction between the populations.

Do you mean that you don't know about the many thousands from Mexico sneaking into America ?
Canada is a well organized country with many opportunities. The people have little reason to abandon the country like rats abandoning a sinking ship.
The Mexicans refused to build their country into a rich nation as the Canadians have. They have the climate, oil, good land, and a much longer time to do it in. All they lack is the right kind of people.

President Bush is pursuing a globalist time table to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with the two Mexico and Canada. This became the hidden time table in the back of the Bush administration's actual open borders coverage. Secretly, the Bush administration is pursuing a coverage to escalate NAFTA politically, putting the degree for a North American Union designed to embody the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. What the Bush administration quite needs is the loose, unimpeded stream of folk in the time of open borders with Mexico and Canada. the perspective of the CFR record helps us to confirm President Bush's speech to the country as no longer something extra effective than public relatives posturing and window dressing. No ask your self President Vincente Fox called President Bush in a panic after the speech. How might desire to the President bypass back on his be conscious to Mexico by actual securing our border? to no longer problem, President Bush reassured President Fox. The national shield on the border have been in basic terms non everlasting, meant to final in basic terms as long until the popular public forgets on the subject of the subject, as has continually been the case interior the previous. this won't ensue,if it might it could be over the bodies of criminal u . s . electorate.they gained't enable this to ensue. Why do you think of its secret?

it is all a matter of politics -- look if bush's home state was one of the big northern states he would have the fence in canada. do you realize how money will flow into texas when they build this fence and how money will keep rolling in after the fence is up just to keep it in working order. i am from illinois i would like the border moved to the southern part of my state that way we would get the extra jobs -- has nothing to do with the country.

What I can't understand is why don't the Canadians build a fence to prevent Americans from getting in their country?
Because in few years the US people will be as poor as Mexico's...
But of course the corporations do great...
God (Enterprises ltd) bless Bush's dad...

He doesn't want a fence built! He was hoping the bill to let them stay here would pass!
I personally think we should have fences on both borders.

Comparing the economy of Canada and Mexico it's easy to see why. Because Mexico has a poor and struggling economy, bad infrastructure and it's currency low, they have a reason to go to America.
Canadians may go to Canada but don't want to stay there permanently. Mexicans want to build (rebuild) their lives in USA

Because the Mexicans immigrate illegally to The United States because of poor living conditions and oppression. Whereas Canadians wouldn't want to because they have sufficient living conditions.

That would be because there are a lot more people trying to come in illegally over the Mexican border than over the Canadian border.
