I went fishing a couple weeks ago in a small lake.
I caught a catfish that was about 15 inches long.
Not very big, but bigger than what I usually catch in the creeks.

Many a time! I used to be in girl scouts and it is soooo relaxing, except when you catch the wrong fish and you aren't sure what kind of fish it is and like a dumb butt you stick your finger in it's mouth to take it off the ok and you get a bunch of tiny teeth pricks your finger. And yes I can bait my own hook and put the weight and put the bobber on and take the fish off. But I refuse to clean it. If the guy wants to eat it, and wants me to cook it, the least he can do is clean it and look at that little white thing inside throbbing. ICK! UGH! YUCK!

Yes, actually I have. I have never acually went fishing in the water though, but I have been Ice Fishing before. I love it!! I don't know about you, but I just love sitting in a heated little house on the lake, playing Uno, and slurping down some hot chocolate. It's just so much fun to me!! Hope this helps!!! :o)

When we were first married we went fishing almost every day. Then one day he never had a nibble and I caught a fish about 4" long. Made him mad. He insisted that I clean and cook that poor little thing. The next time I saw my fishing rod, it belonged to his mother. I've never been invited to go fishing again. He's only gone fishing with his mother or brother since then. 41 years later, I've no interest and neither does he. And he's finally embarrassed about his temper tantrum.

Yes and I was canoing at the same time with 3 friends. Then I tipped over in some really deep and dirty water. Luckily I had a life jacket on!!!

When I was a kid, yes, and I didn't use bait! I used a needle pin tied to a sewing line and that was it. The hungry barrigudinhos (as we Brazilian call those little fish) would bite anything! The we cut them and use as a better bait, to fish bigger ones. Nowadays our beautiful Lagoa is so polluted!
