I DO! God has gotten me through some of the toughest times of my life. I am currently 14 years old. When i was 11 i was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis. I had to give up my favorite sports for over a year (hockey and soccer). I couldnt even go on a walk or play pick up baseball with my firends. I prayed and prayed and in less than 2 years, i was able to return to an (almost) arthritis free life. I had to re learn how to run because my muscle memory in my ankles and toes were damaged.

God also helped me get through 6th grade. In sixth grade mty aunt died. She left behind her husband, a daughter (7th grade at the time) and a son (in 3rd Grade at the time). She was 40.
Our whole family was mmiserable but with the help of God, we got through it.

I have a strong belief in God and the paranormal. I am GIFTED with the ability to see those passed on, such as my aunt and to have premonitions.

I am wondering who else believes in God (or allah) and why atheists dont. Answers?

Hey, Phil f!
Ever hear of a wake up call? People have free will but some things are meant to happen. God always pulls good out of something bad. If your skiing accident was so bad YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED.
GOD LET YOU LIVE. Many people who have life threatening experiences finally wake up and realize that there is more to life then just themselves.

And of course i give my doctors credit! they did a great job. But guess what else? I wound up going to a Non Profit Catholic Childrens Hospital. It accepted anyone not just catholics.

And Catholocism is waking up to the realization of Spirits and Demons. Ever hear of Purgatory? Thats where spirits go when awaiting the final judgement. I BELIEVE THE THEORY THAT GHOSTS ARE SOULS IN PURGATORY.

Ever hear of an exorcism? Try seeing one. Demons and Angels And Spirits Are Real. There is your proof. Oh, and since your an atheist you prolly dont know this, but the guy in the black clothes doing the exorcism, always a Catholic PRIEST! fact

Christian friends, im really upset know. I think i have made a mistake. i have posted several questions trying to convert atheists. i am not letting them shake my faith, but i feel deeply sadened that they are condemning themselves. I became so caught up in trying to get them to wake up, i tried to scare them into realizing they will go to hell. i asked what they think is going to happen when they die and in the details, i made a mistake of attemoting to make a joke and said "i already know you are going to hell, but wut do u think?" i said this to get a few laughs out of them and to scare them a little. what do u think?

I suppose that you went to the Doctor a lot for your Arthritis, do you give them any credit? I had a very bad skiing accident in which i broke my cheek, my nose, 3 ribs, my pelvic bone, my heel (into 7 pieces) and my Ankle. I also tore half my noses skin off. I ended up having reconstructive surgury to have things put back together and i made it through it , WITH my Doctors help. If you are a Christian... or a Muslim , how is it that you believe in seeing Ghosts? I do not believe that is supposed to be possible in those religions to have Ghosts roaming around. Have you read the Bible? I would suggest that you do if you choose to believe in it. Knowledge is powerful. Are you sure that you are seeing dead people? And having Premonitions? Or are you just having a rotten time with life and maybe seeking ways to escape the bad stuff? As to why Athiests do not believe in God... because we see no proof and have no faith.

I have a believe and believe not personality. I find the times where my life seems out of control I reach for belief. But I never had anything that really revealed to me that God is all that is good in my life. But there are time when I just have to stop and wonder. Did God prevent my motorcycle engine from dying in that busy intersection when I hit the kill switch instead of the blinker and my engine did not cut out untill I had cleared all the traffic? Hmmm or was that a safety mechanism? Harley Davidson Dealer can't explain why my engine did not kill instintly locking up my wheels which would of caused a crash and burn. God or Fluke?

Amen! I believe in God with all my heart!! He has given me a joy that NO ONE can ever take from me!!!! Because of the love and mercy He has given us, if we choose to accept Him!!!!!

I'm 43 and I was diagnosed with MS almost 6 years ago. I never blamed God (He didn't give it to me), I never asked why (He ALWAYS brings good from bad), and I just know that I have this so I can help touch other people's lives and I think I have, and that's a huge praise to our God!!!!

I also am blessed with a 6 month old grandson....he has serious medical issues. Once again, not even his mom and dad have asked God why. They just accept their son for what he is...and that's a very sweet, very cute and loving boy. He only has one part of one kidney that's keeping him alive and so we could lose him at any time....but we don't treat him with 'kid gloves.' We treat him just like we did with his older sister. We have fun, we laugh and play with him, etc. If God DOES take him, we'll know that He is in God's hands and will have his perfect body, even though we'll miss him here, we know we'll see him again soon.

But...God is my Lord and Saviour and without Him in my life, I wouldn't know how to survive in this world as it gets worse everyday.

Thank you for your great words! And for only being 14, you've been through alot, and it's great to see your love for God shining through your word, and you are very wise for your years. Keep on living for Him!!!! God Bless!

I believe in God and that's great you had faith in Him to get you through your tough times but I do NOT believe you can see dead people. Maybe you should get your eyes check or maybe see a psychologist or a psychiatrist about that. :-/

I too believe in God.He has always helped me through bad times in my life.He can be relied upon totally unlike human beings.People sometimes don't believe because he doesn't give them what they want immediately or in the way they want but he always answer sometimes in subtle ways.
I'm glad you are a believer don't let anyone shake your faith or put you down for having it.

I think atheists believe in what they can physically see or touch or prove to be real. People who believe in GOD must go on blind faith. I think that the difference.
