i just got back from Pizza Hut, and i ordered a medium pizza. i also ordered an appetizer of bread sticks. i got full off of those before my pizza even got to my table. i ordered the medium pizza for myself, and was going to tackle eating it all. i only ate three slices. the rest i took home.
do you ever get full from just from the little appetizers you get before your meal gets to you?

All the time! I usually have to skip the appetizer so I can eat the dinner. Or else I end up taking most of the entree home.

All the time! Most restaurant meals are too big for me, so I usually order an appetizer and a salad and call it dinner. Unless it's a place that I know well - there's an Italian place by me that no matter what I order I get two meals out of, and it reheats well, so I plan on it.

I get full on the salad and bread. I usually order a small meal or just an appetizer because I hate to waste food.

If I ever get an appetizer, that is guaranteed to happen. But I usually still get a meal anyways, that way, I can bring it home and have the leftovers for dinner the next night ;)

You must have quite an appetite to eat that much by yourself as it is!
I only get appetizers if eating with at least one other person or get appetizers as my dinner instead. We have a couple of restaurants now in my area that has their menu made up entirely of appetizers.

Yea...and why are they called appetizers anyways? Are they supposed to make you hungry? Isn't that the reason we go to eat....because we are hungry? So we get appetizers and they do the opposite...they make us full, they don't arouse our appetite at all. Yet we always end up spending more money than we wanted to on food, and eating more than we wanted to, just so we can look at our main course and say "No thanks, I'm full, wrap it up and I'll just nuke it tomorrow." Such a confusing world we live in, isn't it?

That's happened to me a lot! I try not to get appetizers for that reason, but sometimes they're just so good! It also makes me mad if I wanna try a dessert but I'm too full from the main course.

Yes, that's why I usually order an appetizer sampler plate and don't get a meal.

yes! and everytime my boss takes me to lunch he orders 3 diff. types of appetizers before the meal..i end up taking half of my meal home plus the leftover appetizers lol
