Just bought one in immaculent condition, needing nothing more than a wash, with 1000 miles on it for $850.00 when I was out in southern California this last fall

Can you tell me how much a corvette costs? Probably not without seeing it. Nor can anyone tell you the real cost of the bike. It's a 1979, or 30 years old. It has at least 22,000 miles on it, the fairing is missing, was it ever in an accident? When you say that it needs some clutch work, does that mean it needs a new transmission? I'd have the bike checked out by an expert, before you put any money down on it. I'll bet that it's not worth more than a couple hundred bucks, the way that you describe it.

I am guessing $800.00 to $1000.00, not sure what you mean by clutch work . . . . . . .if it needs a clutch replaced, maybe half that.
Son just bought an '83 650 Honda on ebay for $800.00
