Houseflies are reminders that the home is not clean.They inject saliva on the food they eat. They spread several bacterial diseases and contaminate food.

The flies a person sees in the home are not necessarily house flies. Several other kinds come into the home as well.
Depends on the smells available. Blue and green bottle flies, tachnid flies, flesh flies, fruit flies and vinegar flies are some of the more common flies that come into the home. The female fly bites and the males generally drink nectar. Flies are a vital part of the food chain, as recyclers and as pollinators. Mosquitoes of course are one of the most dangerous members of the fly family.

they help clean up all the grubby bits here and there that we leave behind thinking we have cleaned up then
They become food for the spider and if they get out of the house its food for the wild life so there fore they are pretty well essential,, if you spray a fly it is contaminated and the fly eating creatures may get poisoned no proof of that bit though
plus fisher men bread them for the maggots, so all in all the fly is cool

I wish people would stop asking why? There is no why to any specific species. Life reproduces, the best it can. That's all! There is no purpose.

Because they are great entertainment for my sheepdog, who spends his days jumping around after them squeaking a toy!
