It's called Learning A Memorable Experience... also known as LAME. And the teacher said that in order to be a good heterosexual your sex life is supposed to be dull, and completely void of pleasure. Is this true?

Sounds correct to me. According to the Bible, the one and only purpose for sex is procreation, as I learned growing up as a good Mormon. Which is why they (like Catholics) believe that it's a sin to use birth control, and why all foreplay and anything other than the standard missionary position is a sexual perversion and constitutes a sin; any physical pleasure derived is incidental. Of course, this would mean that pretty much every married heterosexual on the planet engages engages in exactly the same sin that they condemn homosexuals for- sex for a purpose other than procreation. And sex where one or both partners know they're infertile or beyond menopause is a definite no-no.

Fortunately, I left these antiquated notions behind years ago, when it occurred to me that God probably has bigger fish to fry in our hate, violence, and greed-infested world than to worry about how and with whom people have sex.

I thought all heteros sex lives were by nature dull and void of pleasure. Now don't get me wrong I like straights. My own mother is a breeder. I tried, but never found pleasure in straight sex, kinky, vanilla or otherwise.

Must mean I'm a homo.

Having literally played all sides of this fence, I would say that you must have fallen in with the self-righteous-sex-for-reproduction-and-God's-glory-only-and-
women-shouldn't-enjoy-it wing of the hetero crowd; the "rehabilitating" part is the first clue.

Sex with the right person is fun no matter what your orientation is!

Nope, not at all true. You are getting us amateur heterosexuals mixed up with the professional heterosexuals. We laugh, we dance, we have a great time with our friends (gay and straight) and loved ones. Now as for the pros, that's a different matter. They are so busy keeping an eye on everybody elses sex lives they really don't have time for one of their own.

Haha! I would come up with something funny myself but I think the acronyms of LAME and HATE covered me... =D

Thank God not all heterosexuals are good at it. =)
